Juliette LEJ trio cellists
L.E.Jis not only a story of music, but also of friendship. Born between August and November 1993, Lucie, Elisa and Juliette grew up in the same building in Saint-Denis. They learned music at the same time, at the Conservatoire.
Elisa and Lucie were students at the Maîtrise de Radio France, Juliette continued at the Conservatoire de Saint Denis before forming L.E.J in 2013, as part of a competition to get on stage.
They win, they perform live and they discover themselves to be stage animals. They played the capital's most emblematic venues, from theOlympia to the Cigale, as well as festivals with very large audiences. The rest is history: a wild success crowned by a Victoire de la Musique award in 2017(Stage Revelation), their covers of summer hits, a first album, En attendant l'album, and a second album of original compositions,
Russian dolls.
On sax and vocals, Lucie. On percussion and vocals, Elisa. On cello and bass, Juliette. These multi-instrumentalists hold the score with six hands.
